"I contacted Justin in mid-July, 2015 when I was looking to buy a house for the first time. I contacted him, because he was highly regarded on Yelp, and my experience working with him completely justified the strong reviews. He met with me soon after I contacted him, and he gave me a concise, but detailed overview of the home-buying process and how it relates to the Seattle market. He outlined strategies to improve my chances in a competitive bid and he put me in touch with a contact for financing. This contact also proved to be an excellent resource. He showed me several houses that matched my criteria, never shying away from pointing out potential flaws and in one case strongly recommending against. He has an expert's eye when viewing a home and he will readily point out the good and the bad, or just the interesting.
Eventually I found a place I really liked but it was already pending. “I wanted to take a few minutes to let you know what a great agent you have in Justin Mellon. Recently I had a listing in Maple Leaf that belonged to my brother-in-law and his wife. After he tragically passed away in February, I had the daunting job of putting it on the market. I say this because our family was already stricken with the loss of our mother and sister within the past year and emotionally, I was somewhat spent. “Justin recently represented me in the purchase of a houseboat. His respectful attention to detail was astonishing and unlike any other experience I've had in the past regarding real estate purchases. He is extremely knowledgeable about the complexities of houseboat ownership and thus was able to arrange two necessary inspections and one estimate of work needing to be done. Further, he steered me toward financing based on his contacts and I was able to secure a very good loan.
